What is cavitation?

Cavitation is an aesthetic treatment without surgery whose purpose is the elimination of accumulations of localized fat, favoring the reduction of body volume through the use of low-frequency ultrasound.
It is a non-invasive process with a very high efficiency, carried out by very sophisticated and precise cavitation machines at low frequencies.

In order to undergo cavitation treatment, a previous medical study is necessary. The reason for this is that cavitation treatment is contraindicated to:
1. Patients with pacemakers or any other electronic devices implanted in the body.
2. Patients with hypercholesterolemia or hypertriglyceridemia.
3. Patients with renal impairment or hepatic insufficiency.
4. Pregnant women.
5. Breastfeeding women.

What is cavitation treatment?

The cavitation treatment consists of the use of a series of aesthetic devices for the production of microbubbles within the adipose tissue. By creating these microbubbles, adipocytes are broken, thus eliminating accumulations of localized fat. When the adipocytes rupture, they are transformed into a fluid that will be subsequently expelled through the urine and lymphatic system.

Cavitation treatment sessions are quick and simple, lasting on average between 30 and 45 minutes each session. Usually, between 6 and 12 sessions are usually necessary, depending on the needs of the patient.

Depending on the instrumentation used, we distinguish between 3 types of cavitation:
1. Stable cavitation. This is the simplest treatment, and it is the one that uses low-frequency waves to dissolve fat cells. It is used to combat cellulite and treat areas with localized fat.
2. Double cavitation. In this case, waves of different frequencies are used to achieve the production of microbubbles. The combination of these frequencies increases the temperature of the bubbles, causing them to implosion and causing adipose tissue to become liquid.
3. Ultracavitation. uses high-power ultrasound waves, achieving the same results as the other two types of cavitation in patients with worse skin texture and structure.

What benefits does cavitation have for the body?

Cavitation is a revolutionary treatment that offers extraordinary results, in addition to having numerous benefits. Therefore, it is not only responsible for providing the skin with a healthy and rejuvenated appearance, but also cavitation:
1. Improves circulation.
2. Expels toxins and fluids.
3. Tones skin tissues.
4. Helps regulate intestinal transit.
5. Fights cellulite and orange peel.
6. Activates collagen production.
It reaches the fat located between the tissues, difficult to eliminate by other methods.

How long does the effect of cavitation last?

Through a cavitation treatment, we help our body eliminate localized fat concentrations. Therefore, it is necessary that the patient undergoing cavitation treatment undertakes to eat a balanced diet to prolong its effect since, otherwise, the results will not be positive.

In addition, it should be constant and undergo 10 to 12 sessions spaced at least for 72 hours. If a session is held every two weeks, the results will not be as expected either.
Therefore, the duration of the effect of cavitation depends on the lifestyle followed by the patient. As we said, if after undergoing this treatment you do not follow a healthy diet or perform physical exercise frequently, the results will not last too long.

At STETICARE we have the necessary instruments to carry out the most innovative aesthetic medical treatment, as well as a medical team specialized in the sector backed by the satisfaction of all our patients. Is Caviation the same as Ultrasonic Liposuction?

Cavitation liposuction, also known as ultrasonic liposuction, is one of the most effective non-invasive and painless methods used in cosmetology for slimming and body shaping, reducing localized excess fat tissue and cellulite. The action of ultrasonic liposuction mainly consists of using the movement generated by ultrasonic waves to transform the state of solid fat deposits into liquid.

During the procedure, the cell membrane of fat cells is ruptured, and released triglycerides, fats, or their derivatives enter the intercellular space, from where they are transported through the circulatory and lymphatic system to the liver. In the liver, the released fat is treated the same way as the fat provided with food, i.e., it undergoes metabolic processes and is eliminated from the body.

How long does it takes to start seeing the result?

Within 4-5 days after the procedure, the resulting substance is naturally eliminated from the body in the process of metabolism.
